Ysabelle San Juan My Oasis I call it my Oasis because an Oasis is basically a sanctuary. A sanctuary that you can seek refuge in. A place where you can escape all troubles. Oasis also means that it is a peaceful area in the midst of a difficult and hectic place or situation.
The Tiger
I chose the Tiger because it symbolizesBeauty, Courage, Passion, Power, and Strength. Tigers have a regal quality and are known to be very courageous. They are excellent leaders and great protectors. I feel that a tiger will best represent my utopia because the people who will inhabit it will require the above qualities.
Declaration Of Independence: The World nowadays depend on violence to solve solutions instead of just making peace with them. It relies on the fact that society have too much pride in themselves and will not just be the better person and back down, which is somewhat understandable. Money is also a universal problem for everybody and it causes conflict between individuals and it is most likely the source of evil in people, in the sense of greed. Poverty stricken countries and third world countries give me a motivation to create a utopia because most of them was a rich beautiful country until they got robbed of their beauty and their resources and it made them the way they are. The countries who had deprived them from their culture won't take responsibility and just left their countries to financially decline. I will also add that people from rich countries are basically getting fat and severely obese because they have too much food and are quick to throw away food, in which in other countries people are starving and will basically eat anything. They could use some of that livestock and produce and share with needy people who are struggling to fend for themselves and survive because of their environment and society. Gangs are also a problem. I just find them irrelevant to society, how can you just have rivalry about a certain color? If it was gangs that would affect the society positively it would be just fine, like building empires that benefit the community and help educate the children, but it unlikely really.
Ignorant people make the world a bad place to live in as well because they are not open-minded about other people's belief, culture and preferences. In the case where society debates on which is the better and correct beliefs and etc. All in all, my utopia would not have these sort of problems because Im confident that the citizens who reside in my utopia will do the right thing and avoid any of the statements above. I believe that by educating the children about these problems would make them a better citizen in the future. By having an upbringing where they know about the social and economical issues, they will most likely better their lifestyle and help out the community.
Utopian Seal
Seal: I had chosen this seal because i think that my Oasis' location will be in my home country, The Philippines because it is the place where i was born and raised at. It also symbolizes the main culture that the citizens will have in my utopia. Other cultures are included as well.
Motto:"He who does not look back at where he came from will never get to his destination." The meaning is self-explanatory, Its about being humble.

Government
Anarchy I chose an anarchy government because I don't want to live in a society with rulers. I believe that people should be free to decide whatever they want. The people decide what they want to do that can benefit their own lives and not the government. Individuals would be free to choose and finance the social solutions they find best. The Utopia wouldn't really make that much decisions since people would just be minding their own business.
